His divan consists of 27 odes, 10 musammats, 619 ghazals, 63 stanzas and 833 couplets. 17 of Baki's 27 odes, which are our subject, are for sultans (4 for Suleiman the Magnificent, 1 for Selim II, 3 for Murat III, 9 for Memet III) and the others are for the greats of the period (2 for Grand Vizier Semiz Ali Pasha, 1 for Kubat 1 to Pasha, 1 to Ebussuud Efendi, 2 to Baba Efendi (Filibeli Mahmut Efendi), 1 to Kadızade Şemseddin Ahmet Efendi, 1 to Ahizade Karamanli Mehmet Efendi, 1 to Sam judge Mehmet Çelebi, son of Ebussuud Efendi. , presented to Feridun Bey 1). While praising the sultans and other statesmen of his time, Baki emphasized their characteristics such as warriorship, bravery, leadership and generosity, as well as their characteristics. In this study, four rulers in the odes in Baki's Divan were evaluated and examined respectively.

Divanı 27’si kaside, 10’u musammat, 619’u gazel, 63’ü de kıta ve 833 beyitten oluşmuştur. Baki’nin konumuz olan 27 kasidesinin 17 tanesi padişahlara (Kanuni’ye 4, II. Selim’e 1, III. Murat’a 3, III. Mehmet’e 9) diğerleride devrin büyüklerine (Sadrazam Semiz Ali Paşa’ya 2, Kubat Paşa’ya 1, Ebussuud Efendi’ye 1, Baba Efendi (Filibeli Mahmut Efendi)’ye 2, Kadızade Şemseddin Ahmet Efendi’ye 1, Ahizade Karamanli Mehmet Efendi’ye 1, Ebussuud Efendi’nin oğlu Sam kadısı Mehmet Çelebi’ye 1, Feridun Bey’e 1) sunulmuştur. Bakî kendi döneminin sultanlarını ve diğer devlet büyüklerini överken onların karakteristik özelliklerinin yanında savaşçılık, yiğitlik, liderlik, cömertlik gibi meziyetlerinin üzerinde durmuştur. Bu çalışmamızda Bakî Divan’ındaki kasidelerde yer alan dört hükümdar değerlendirilmiş ve sırasıyla incelenmiştir
