Summary: The Syrian crisis, which began in March 2011, continues to be one of the most important global conflicts in which a number of foreign actors are involved to varying degrees. The relevance of this topic is primarily due to the fact that the development of the conflict in Syria mainly determines the military and political situation in the region, as well as global politics as a whole. At the same time, the political Islamic movement, like the "Islamic State", played an important role in the Syrian conflict. From this point of view, the subject considered is very relevant, its research has an important and promising scientific, theoretical and practical significance. The subject of the study is the nature of the Syrian crisis, its sides, its internal and external actors.
