The article deals with the issue of mutual artistic connections between Kazakh and Turkish folklore heritage. The content of historical, cultural and domestic relations of Kazakh folkloristics is recognized in the totality of the features of the oral literature of the Turkic peoples and is studied in terms of poetics. The differences in the content of the old Turkic poems and later Kazakh poems and the peculiarities of national knowledge are analyzed. The problem of recognition of the B.Uakhatov as a scientist who defined the scientific principles of revealing the features of folk lyrics, systematized the genre, classified it into sub-genres, and comprehensively studied it. The main feature of the folkloristics of peoples of Turkic origin is the harmony of the theme and the integrity of the artistic worldview. At the same time, mutual artistic characteristics of the treasure of speech art of the people, which is passed from generation to generation, are recognized. The similarities and differences of the features of the Kazakh folkloristic heritage and the features of the collection are analyzed. Bekmurat Ukhatov's scientific principles and methods in the research of Turkish-language folk literature are studied.
