With the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the Turkic Republics in these territories began to declare their independence. Following these declarations, the Turkic states have started to reconstruct themselves in all aspects. During this period, the Republic of Turkey entered into a multifaceted relationship with these Turkic states. Turkey, through the Moscow Agreement, has resumed its previously suspended relations with the Turkic states and has been working to strengthen these relations diplomatically, culturally, economically, and commercially in every possible way since 1992. These efforts became structured under an international organization with the Nakhchivan Agreement in 2009. This study is limited to the relations between the Turkic World and Turkology. While developing relations with the Turkic World, the concept of Turkology (the study of Turkic culture and languages), which began to be used since the nineteenth century, has been employed. In this context, numerous studies have been conducted both in Turkey and in the Turkic World. At higher education institutions, many studies have been and are being conducted through departments, institutes, and centers dedicated to Turkology. This study covers the postgraduate studies conducted at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, particularly in the departments of Turkish Language and Literature, Folklore, and Contemporary Turkic Dialects and Literatures, as well as other departments, institutes, and centers. Thus, while the contributions of the university to Turkology at the postgraduate level are identified, it is also aimed to concretize the university's approach to the Turkic World. Considering the bibliographic aspect of the study, it is anticipated to serve as a resource for further research, particularly for Turkologists and other field workers.
