Azerbaijani cinema was influenced by Soviet filmmakers due to being in the Soviet Union. Azerbaijani Turkish directors who were trained by directors such as Kuleshov, Eisenstein and Pudovkin, who have an important place in the history of cinema, produced valuable films not only for Azerbaijan but also for the whole Turkic world.
