Summary. This article discusses the common features and artistic features of Azerbaijani – Kazakh oral literature. The territory of literary relations will be studied on the basis of the historical and cultural process, its theoretical essence, laws and prerequisites will be discussed. In addition, the common cultural heritage, which served as the basis for historical and genetic, historical and topological similarities, Kazakh-Azerbaijani literary artifacts were enriched, the relations between the Turkic peoples and the impressions of one of the individual poets and writers were studied based on specific facts and materials. The analysis of the artistic features of traditional songs and historical epics, which are popular among the Kazakh – Azerbaijani nation, is carried out and the genre nature is recognized. The similarities and differences of individual plots are studied, the story similarities of poems, Kissa, and sagas are shown. In the development of any people in terms of art, literary ties serve as a link for the growth of the literature of this nation, combining the spiritual wealth of the people, dreams and interests, and the history of life with the history of the development of other peoples. Now there are features of the process of interaction of Kazakh oral literature with other literature. These connections found a new content, a new type, a new tone, expanded into ways and opportunities, revealed the mystery of our literature. One of the examples of this is the Turkic integrity of Kazakh – Azerbaijani folkloristics.
