Abstract. The Middle Corridor is a competitive corridor for energy and transit transportation from Eurasia to Europe, and plays an important role in accelerating integration as an economic and commercial instrument connecting the Turkic world. The Middle Corridor plays the role of a key institution for developing economic cooperation, especially between Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkey, which are member states of the Organization of Turkic States (TST). With a common cultural heritage and linguistic ties, these nations have great potential for trade and economic integration. This comprehensive lecture aims to explore trade flows, trade policies, economic relations among OTS members and the central role of the Middle Corridor in facilitating trade, energy transit and security cooperation in the region.
