The article compares the somatic phraseology existing in Azerbaijani and English languages. On the other hand, the concept of "somatic" is explained and various somatic phraseological combinations are studied on the basis of a wide range of linguistic material, examples, and examples. The concept of phraseology includes exactly what or what, the effect of phraseology on the language in one way or another, the lexical-semantic features of somatic component phraseology existing in our native language and in English, and the factors in the formation of this type of phraseological units are investigated. A comparative analysis of this type of phraseology in our language and in English helps to reveal the similarities and differences between the two nations. Thus, phraseology, especially somatic phraseology, is one of the important means of studying the culture, traditions and development of a certain nation.
