The concept of Aksakal, which is an important element of Turkish cultural history from past to present, and related values and practices have been used in religious, political, social and cultural fields until today. The embodiment of the concept of Aksakals in the 21st century is the "Council of Aksakals". The work of the "Council of Elders", which was organized for the 15th time as of 2024, was examined and its activities, participating member countries and by whom they are represented, their aims and objectives were evaluated and their activities were examined. The Council of Elders was initially conceived as an advisory board that would only make advisory decisions, and recently its regulations have been changed to contribute more to the issues of the Turkic world. The structure of the Council of Elders, the participating member countries and their activities over a period of 15 years are presented.
