One of the spiritual veins feeding Anatolian sufism is the sufi life that developed in Azerbaijan. Among the prominent elements of the sufi life in this region, it is possible to mention the Khalwat Khalwatī order. The emergence of Khalwatiya in Azerbaijan is attributed to Pīr Omar Khalwatī (d. 750/1349), whose tomb is located in this region. Through his disciples and caliphs, Pīr Omar Khalwatī ensured the establishment of the order in Azerbaijan and its spread to many regions such as Anatolia, the Balkans, Syria, Egypt, North Africa and South Asia. Sayyid Yahyā-yı Shirvānī, the second pīr of the order, Shirvānī's sheikh Sadreddīn-i Hiyāwī, Ahî Mīrem Khalwatī, İbrahim-i Shirvānī, İzzeddin Türkmānī are some of the sheikhs who represented Khalwatiya in Azerbaijan. In this study, it is aimed to introduce the Khalwatī sheikhs who were born, lived or were buried in Azerbaijan. In this regard, Lemazât-ı Hulviyye ez Lemeât-ı Ulviyye written by Mahmud Jamal al-Din al-Hulwî (d. 1064/1654), one of the writers of the Khalwatī tabaqāt, has been used to a great extent.
