XX Əsrin İlk Onilliyində ABŞ-nin Yaxın Şərq Siyasəti

This article will examine the geo-political and conceptual foundations of the US Middle East strategy at the beginning of the 21st century, the historical-political aspects and characteristics of this stage of the Middle East policy. One of the most serious factors affecting the formation of the military-political strategy of the United States in the Middle East is the actual geographical position of the region, located at the intersection of transport corridors connecting Europe, Asia and Africa. In recent years, the United States has been using the term "Greater Middle East"-"Greater Middle East" in this sense. In addition, the countries of the region are actively developing socio-economically. Incomes from oil exports, tourism and other areas of the economy make individual Middle Eastern countries a free source of finance. The transformation of the Middle East into a growing market for American manufacturers and a source of investment for the US economy requires Washington to consider that factor in the development and implementation of its Middle East military-political strategy.
