The purpose of this article is to explore the potential and forecast for the future of the Organization of Turkic States. To achieve the goal of the article, the following issues are discussed: the emergence, features and influence of the Organization of Turkic States, as well as opportunities and threats for the Turkic world. In this context, firstly, they tried to determine the place of the Turkic world in the international system. The source of the article is previously published articles and works of domestic and foreign researchers on this topic. The article is written using research method using collected data and sources. The analysis shows that at present the Organization of Turkic States has distinct features. Firstly, it is widely represented among the Turkic-speaking peoples and has a great say in the world. Secondly, there are many “ideas” aimed at unifying Eurasia, covered by the Organization of Turkic States. Third, the five member countries are historically and geopolitically linked and are strengthening their national and state structures.
