In this study, the problem of foreign words that are said with a vowel in Turkish but whose vowels are not written in the text is focused on. Written language is a form of spoken language marked on a basis and must be compatible with spoken language. Turkish adapts foreign words that do not comply with its own sound rules to its own structure by adding vowels. Many of the words from Eastern languages are pronounced in accordance with Turkish pronunciation rules and written as they are pronounced. There are many words from Western languages entered Turkish that have vowels but whose vowels are not written. Turkish Language Association should carry out the necessary studies to ensure the correct spelling of the words in this situation. For example; Words such as elektrik, film, fren, grup, klavye, plan, spor, tren should be written as they are pronounced, in the form of elektirik, filim, firen, gurup, kılavye, pilan, sipor, tiren.
