The article mentions that the history of euphemisms in Turkology is as rich and colorful as the Turkish language itself. Euphemisms have played an important role in Turkish culture as words or phrases considered harsh or uncensored. Euphemisms are widely used in literature and everyday life to adhere to social norms and add sophistication to language. The study of euphemisms provides valuable insights into the socio-cultural aspects of different periods of Turkish history. Of course, over time, as social norms and values develop, various euphemisms reflecting the dynamic nature of the language have been formed. Today, the study of euphemisms continues to be an integral part of Turkish linguistics, as sometimes the use of euphemisms in a language expresses the development of the society. The history of euphemisms in Turkology, from their use in everyday communication to their widespread use in Turkish literature, serves as evidence of the rich linguistic heritage and developing socio-cultural dynamics of Turkish society. Turkology has a rich history spanning a long time. Turkish languages are spoken by millions of people in the republics of the former Soviet Union. Thus, Turkish is considered the mother tongue of the population living in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and other territories.
