The influence of diplomatic relations between groups of the same ancestry or the same ethnic origin is increasing in today's world. A public diplomacy based on kinship, which aims to establish strong ties, solidarity and interaction between a country and its kinsmen in other countries, has become widespread. A country's compatriots gaining power in the places where they live will increase the country's influence and influence in the region, causing them to attach importance to the political organization, life security and cultural rights of their compatriots. This study examines the kinship ties between Azerbaijan-Karabakh and Konya-Karabakh from the perspective of public diplomacy and focuses on the strategic importance of these relations in politics. In this context, firstly, the development of public diplomacy is discussed and its situation in Turkey is examined. Secondly, the historical and cultural ties of Azerbaijan-Karabakh and Konya-Karabakh are examined and the potential for solidarity with each other is emphasized. It is revealed how historical experiences and cultural interactions shape kinship relations. Then, focusing on the role of public diplomacy, strategic steps in this field, namely the contributions of tools such as media, cultural events and education to kinship relations, are analyzed and possible interaction models are analyzed. In the conclusion, suggestions are presented to increase the future potential of kinship relations. These suggestions, which include a more effective use of public diplomacy strategies, consider the kinship ties between Azerbaijan and Konya-Karabakh as an example, especially as a person from Konya Karabakh, and include suggestions on how interactions at the global level can be directed in terms of their potential in providing solidarity, trust and cooperation.
