KADİM DOĞU TURAN EKONOMİSİ: I. ve II. KÖK TÜRK KAĞANLIKLARININ EKONOMİK YAPISI ÜZERİNE İNCELEME

The Kök Türk Khaganates is one of the most influential Turkish Khaganates in Ancient Eastern Turan economic history. The Kök Türks, also known as the meaning "Celestial Türks", established a vast empire in Inner Asia, flourishing between roughly 552 and 603 AD. The I. Khaganate was established by the Ashina clan, with Bumin Khagan uniting various Turkic tribes around 552 AD. At its peak, the Khaganate stretched from Manchuria in the east to the Black Sea in the west, creating a powerful Türkistan empire. The Kök Türks rapidly expanded their territory through military prowess, conquering neighboring groups and establishing dominance over the Silk Road trade routes. They played a significant role in the power struggles between the Byzantine Empire and the Sasanian Empire of Persia. While details are not entirely clear, the Khaganate likely had a hierarchical structure with the Ashina at the top. Semi-Nomadic pastoralism was the primary economic activity, but they also engaged in trade and levied tribute from conquered peoples. In this study, when both written and archaeological data are analyzed by the Archeonomi systematics, the economic structures of the Kök Turk Khaganates will be analyzed.
