The article is about of relationship between Azerbaijan and UK devoted to a long and long period of time in relation to its two histories. The author focuses on trade relations between the two countries between the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century, the oil factor and humanitarian relations. The article explores the bilateral relationship between Azerbaijan and Great Britain, and many business and benefits related to cooperation on an international scale. Currently, the energy policy and security factor is one of the most studied problems in the modern world. The fact that the subject of bilateral and multilateral relations within the framework of the international relations system has become a subject of wide discussion in modern historiography indicates its relevance. One of the factors determining the relevance of the topic is the fact that the process of integration in the world is expanding in the modern era and the people of Azerbaijan are participating in this process along with the peoples of the world. Currently, many regional and global projects are being developed and implemented in the world. This, in turn, is a subject of serious scientific research. Within the framework of the problem of globalization, which is one of the main directions of development of the modern world, relations between Azerbaijan and Great Britain are of strategic importance. The oil factor, which forms the basis of these relations, requires the two countries to be based on the principles of mutual cooperation and partnership on various international platforms.
