The 21st Century started together with a massive change on a large scale thorough the political borders in Eurasia and in this region the new republics which belong to the same historical and cultural roots with Turkey gained their independence. This political change has led to the emergence of a new political geography along with the economic and socio-cultural dimensions. Together with the new political geography and conditions, in terms of the scientific community, almost an untouched area has appeared in the whole World. The scientific community has intensified its researches on this area and recent studies have been carried out in many areas.


Research Symposium on the Turkic World (RSTW) first was held in 2014 hosted by Nigde University with the aim of gathering together Turkic World’s scientists and academic staff belong to the scientific community around the world in order to provide scientific ideas sharing, pave the way for new researches and discussions, ensure the academic literature enrichment as qualified. II. International Research Symposium on the Turkic World was held in 2015 hosted by Kazakh State Women Teacher Training University in Almaty; III. International Research Symposium on the Turkic World was held in Baku in 2016, hosted by Baku Eurasia University; IV. International Research Symposium on the Turkic World was held in Niğde in 2017, hosted by Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University and V. International Research Symposium on the Turkic World was held in Almaty in 2018, hosted by Kazakh State Women Teacher Training University.


VI. International Research Symposium on the Turkic World will be held between the dates of 13-15 June 2019 in Baku, Azerbaijan in a strong cooperation with Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University (Nigde, Turkey), Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University (Almaty, Kazakhstan), M. Akmullah Bashkir State Pedagogical University (Ufa, Russia) and Baku Eurasian University (Baku, Azerbaijan).


In the symposium, it is aimed to held the topics which interest the Turkic World in the disciplines of language, literature, history, education, culture, arts, communications, international relations, regional issues, business, economics, religion, philosophy, sociology, tourism, gender studies and in areas such as science, academic issues and discussion of current issues, sharing of mutual experiences, determination of research methods, exchange of ideas on new research orientations and it is intended to prepare the ground for joint projects which will be held in the Turkic World in the future.

This symposium, which will bring together the scientists, researches and academic staff interested in Turkic World researches, is expected to provide new point of views to the whole stakeholders belong to science community by offering new perspectives with the contribution of quality information production to the whole world and Turkic World.


With this symposium, besides the scientific activities and cultural events to be held, it is also aimed to contribute to the peace and tranquility on the region by increasing the cooperation and communication with each community, its relatives and neighbors living in the same geographic area.
